She just arrived via UPS. She was wrapped and packaged very carefully, and when I opened her, I discovered - a PM Kirsten! The poor girl has suffered terrible trauma, and she is very clingy (even as I type this she is digging her head into my shoulder). She smells faintly smoky (from some time back in her past), and I think her hair has been fried beyond recovery, but her face and body are perfect (though slightly loose-limbed and with only about 2 inches of each string remaining). The Sock Hopper outfit is beautiful, but much in need of a cleaning and some repair work to one sleeve. Last summer at the MCM sale, I purchased a grab bag containing the pink "silk" scarf and the cat-eye glasses, so now all I am missing from the outfit are the shoes and socks. Luckily black and white saddle shoes are easily found!
My new sweetheart has now been dressed in clean underwear (she was wearing a Bitty Baby diaper under her skirt, for goodness sake!), jeans, a warm sweater, and slippers. As soon as I can tell she feels a little more secure, I will clean her up and see if her hair is salvageable or if she will need a new wig. When I ordered her, it was with the intent of fixing her up for resale, but I have already discovered that I cannot send this poor child on to someone else - she has dealt with enough trauma in her life! So, it looks like I have added yet another sister to my AG family..... [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

She is lucky to have found such a good home. I hope you can fix her hair but then again rewigging is so fun! I think you got a great deal too. The outfit is adorable. I only have the skirt but I just love it. Keep us posted on her progress and post pics please.

Aww, I'm glad you're going to keep her! She sounds like she really needs some TLC and lots of family members to love her. Have fun fixing her up!
